There are only 15 days left to the World University championship in karate to be held in Podgorica. Not so much nor so little time left, but one thing is sure – Montenegrin students karatekas will be fully prepared, both physically and tactically. Work in the preparation period in Podgorica and forthcoming four day preparations in Bar, starting from today until Monday should provide good result. Team spirit was never better and competitors led by their selector Rajko Vujošević have all necessary conditions for appropriate preparations for this competition, which will be toughest and with most competitors ever.
It is extremely important not only because of the home field but for the progress in career, and at yesterday’s training competitors for support from the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee Dušan Simonović.
– I wish you success at the forthcoming World University Championship. I know that the fact it’s organized here will only be a motive more and I hope you will win as much medals as possible – said Simonović addressing competitors.
At the training, members of the national team were visited by the Secretary of Karate Association Dragan Kračković, and one of the biggest hopes who won two bronze medals at the WC in Wroclaw, Almir Cecunjanin, is very much satisfied with his shape.
