MOC: 49 YOUNG ATHLETES GOT SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Word is about perspective Montenegrin athletes, born between 1989. and 1995., called "Perspective athletes – Olympic hopes"

In accordance with the Law on sport, and in accordance with its Statute, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee has brought the decision on ''Perspective athletes – Olympic hopes'' for 2008. for 49 Montenegrin athletes.

Following received candidatures from national sport federations, Commisson of the Montenegrin olympic Committee for delivery of scholarships 'Olympic hopes'', composed of: dr Branko Jovanović, dr Dimitrije Rašović, Zorica Kovačević and Predrag Marsenić, considered received proposals and proposed to the Executive Committee of the MOC candidatures for ''Perspective athletes – Olympic hopes''.

Scholarship is 100 euros per month per individual.

Winners of the scholarship are young judists Željko Muminović (1990), Nikola Vulević (1990), Aleksandar Nikčević (1991) and Anđela Dedić (1991).

From athletics were chosen Marija Vuković (1992), Jovana Kljajević (1990), Dejana Sošić (1992) and Danijela Furtula (1992).

Among boxers, Bojan Pešić (1990), Marko Radonjić (1990), Dragan Pešić (1992) and Darko Dobrašinović (1990).

From tennis were chosen Danka Kovinić (1994), Vuk Slavujica (1992), Ljubomir Čelebić (1991) and Vladica Babić (1995).

On the list were table tennis players Irfan Čekić (1993), Viktor Rogić (1995) and Sunčica Rogić (1992).

Out of young cyclists were chosen Borisav Marković (1989) and Lazar Radović (1990), from taekwondo Vilson Ljaljčaj (1993) and Suzana Radović (1991).

Skier Bojan Kosić (1990), is the only one from this sport on the list of scholarship winners.

Jelena Cvijović (1992), Vladimir Bojić (1990), Vojin Cačić (1990), Božidar Ćuk (1992) and Marko Đuranović (1991) are young volleyball players, and Stefan Kljajević (1990), Luka Milić (1990), Risto Radunović (1992), Nenad Matić (1991) and Jasmin Agović (1991), young football players.

Swimmers were chosen, as well: Katarina Đurđević (1993) and Milica Marković (1993), also water-polo players Miljan Nikčević (1992), Voljislav Peković (1992) and Vukota Marković (1992).

Among handball players Majda Mehmedović (1990), Suzana Lazović (1992), Ivan Perišić (1990), Danijel Vukićević (1991) and Predrag Sošić (1990), and among basketball players Nemanja Radović (1991), Nikola Ljujić (1991), Mihailo Sekulović (1991), Aleksandar Dobrović (1991) and Anđela Đurović (1990).
