Montenegrin sailor Milivoj Dukić will participate at the Olympic Games in London.
He won the placement based on the results from the World Championships in Australia. After the championship, Dukic was the first below the line of competitors who won the placement for the Olympics.
Cancellation of the Swiss representative enabled Montenegrin sailor to compete in London.
President of the Sailing Federation of Montenegro Pero Vujovic said that Dukic made a great success.
"It is great that junior qualified for the Games in London, based on his results. These are rare things in the world. I expect that after the Olympic Games he will win top placement among the 100 seniors of the world," said Vujovic
So far, 33 Montenegrin athletes managed to qualify for the Olympic Games and they will compete in seven sports, two team sports and five individual.
In London, Montenegro will be represented by water polo and handball teams, athletes Danijel Furtula and Slađana Perunović, judoka Srđan Mrvaljević, shooter Nikola Šaranović, boxer Boško Drašković and sailor Milivoj Dukić.
