Gold medal for Srdjan Mrvaljevic

Srdjan Mrvaljevic has won a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin by winning against Slovenian Aljaz Sedej in the finals of category up to 81 kg. Our most successful judoka has continued his pratice of winning medals at big competitions and assured us that those health problems he experienced right before the London Olympics are now behind him.

Other Montenegrin athletes which competed today are shooters Jefto Bjelica, Nikola Vukcevic and Pavle Radevic, boxer Nikola Milacic, sailors Milivoj Dukic and Igor Les, and wrestler Rafael Samurgasev.

Boxer Nikola Milacic has won the first match of his competition against boxer from Egypt.

Out of 41 competitors, shooter Pavle Radevic took 32nd, Jefto Bjelica was 35th, and Nikola Vukcevic was 38th.

At the programme today there were also 2 reggattas in sailing, and Milivoj Dukic has won a third and 12th place, while his colleague Igor Les took seventh and third.

Wrestler Rafael Samurgasev has ended his competition at the Mediterranean Games, with two defeats.
